This is a clever thingie. You can search for a song by tapping out the rhythm of the words using your keyboard's spacebar. It's surprisingly accurate. Click for Song Search by Tapping

IT stresses 'driving UK to drink'

There appears to be a link between stress, drinking and technology (in a bad way).

TOP CAUSES OF STRESS
1. IT problems - 30%
2. Change in financial status/personal injury - 24%
3. Commuting - 20%

Solutions according to the UK Charity Developing Patient Partnerships (DPP):

DPP's TIPS FOR DEALING WITH STRESS
1. Live a healthy lifestyle
2. Don't take too much on
3. Decide what causes you stress and change it
4. Avoid unnecessary conflict
5. Manage your time better
6. Practice saying "no" without feeling guilty
7. Take time out to "recharge your batteries"
8. Talk about problems so they do not get out of proportion
9. Make time to see friends
10. Do not use alcohol, nicotine or caffeine to cope with stress

I have my own list:
Oingo's TIPS FOR DEALING WITH STRESS
1. Leave a healthy lifestyle
2. Don't do anything (especially when hungover)
3. Decide what causes you stress and avoid it, delegate it, ignore it...
4. Avoid unnecessary people
5. Manage your time by getting a job that gives you over 35 days holiday a year
6. Say "no" without feeling guilty (Of course! Duh!)
7. Take time out to "recharge your batteries" by drinking or playing video games or reading or sleeping or having sex etc...
8. Talk about problems so they do not get out of prrrrrrrpupupupprrrrrtingphtoooooo! (Of course! Duh!)
9. Chill, hang out with people you like/love
10. Use alcohol, nicotine or caffeine for the hell of it (but be wary of hangovers - they get worse as you get older)

That's totally irresponsible of course. But if you've read this far you know my sense of humour already.

And then there's another BBC article that supports the view that drinking is good for your brain...

Alamo teechs u 2 play DURID!

This rox. It's a guide explaining how to play the roll of a druid in World of Warcraft written in a hybrid of gamer speak and l33t speak. Some of the comments don't get it. It's funny. I reckon Alamo = Ali G. WoW Druid Discussion -
