Malaysia's floggers get pay rise

The BBC reports that Malaysian floggers and hangmen are to get a pay rise.

They point out that "According to the prison service, few officers applied to be executioners and the country is experiencing a shortage.

However, flogging jobs are hotly contested, with only one in five applicants being accepted."

It's good to hear that there are still some jobs out there with good pay prospects. BBC article (click me)
