Firefox extensions list

Here's a list of the extensions that I recommend in Firefox. This took a while and is a work of love... In no particular order (just good)

stumbleupon to use Stumbleupon in your Firefox browser. And if you don't know stumbleupon click me

Image Zoom you can use this to zoom in or out of any image by holding your right or left click while using your scroll wheel. Nice.

Autohide If you want to maximise your view of web pages get this extension. It's great with 'compact menu' (see below), because it allows you to 'full screen' and keep your most useful tooolbars. Play around with it to get your best setting. Works best with the default Firefox theme (which is the best anyway).

Autohide is truly brilliant, but you'll need to do a bit of messing around. Email me if you need help with this one. You'll love it once you know how it works.

Download status bar This one shows what you are downloading at the bottom of your browser screen in the 'status bar'. You can delete the files you've downloaded by 'right clicking' the bar and following instructions. There's more to it than that. Just use it. It's damn useful.

Compactmenu This allows you to remove 'file', 'edit', 'view' & 'go' from your menu bar. Just right click on your menus at the top of your browser and you'll see a pop up with boxes to un-tick. Good if you don't use these functions. It frees up space in your browser.

Tabbrowser preferences Just good to control your tab browsing. Play around with the settings until you find the setting that suits you best.

Bookmarks synchronizer (you'll need to get your own website - try Lycos)

Fire ftp (only if you have a website)

Copy URL
Use this extension to copy URLs with the page title. This is particularly useful if you need to quote something on a webpage (it copies the URL with anything you highlight).

If you don't know what Firefox is yet, then click this button....
